It is with great pleasure that we present Character and Soul: That Which Surrounds Us in honor of Hispanic Heritage month. Peering into the daily lives, personalities, and history that enrich a neighborhood’s character, this exhibition delves into the individual qualities of people and spaces that come together and create distinctive communities.
The works of Tony Armendariz and Tomas Castano focus on the unique architectural traits that distinguish a city, neighborhood, or individual block. The inhabitants take on a secondary role, defined as much by their surrounding environment as they end up defining it over time. Read More ...
