Hispanic Heritage on Canvas
Celebrating Contemporary Latino Artists
Brazil, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Mexico and Puerto Rico each have cultures that are distinctively rich and unique. In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, works are featured by artists who share a powerful ability to communicate the cultures of these countries on canvas with beauty, emotion, vibrancy and life. As the works in this exhibition illustrate, Latino culture is by no means homogenous and includes a great diversity of history, styles of expressions and pastimes. The warmth and vitality of “Hispanic Heritage on Canvas” demonstrates how art has enriched the fabric of our country and communities.
