Simone Spruce-Torres

Simone Renee Spruce-Torres is a contemporary representational artist who creates a rich variety of multicultural portraits and figures placed in distinctive interiors and exteriors creating a sense of time and place to engage her audience. Her mediums of choice are acrylic paint and graphite pencil.

She has been told that when people experience her work, they feel a powerful sense of awareness, encouragement and enlightment.

Simone has worked as an art instructor to at-risk youth, children, teens and adults with mental, physical, emotional, psychological, physiological and pathological disorders.

Simone has exhibited in the Southeast, Midwest, and Northeast. Her work is in both public and private collections.

She received her B.A in Art from the University of Findlay in Findlay, Ohio and is the recipient of numerous awards and honors.
