Semy Braga

Painter, sculptor and poet, Semy Braga is a self taught artist who develops his work inspired by the island where he lives, Florianopolis, in the South of Brazil. An Island where simple people are, the fisherman, with their myths as they look for a secure port when the storm washes the island and the southern wind from Antarctic cleans the soul. Gazing horizons, looking at the unknown, seeing the imaginary, strange figures, is how he materializes his art. The boat as the brush is the transportation and the possibility of endless adventures.
His works can be found in Cultural Foundations, Museums, Private Collectors, and Galleries in the south of Brazil and in the USA.
