Oscar Petersen
Oscar Peterson, born in Harlem, NY and raised in Brooklyn, is an alumnus of Pratt Institute, and The Art Students League of New York. An art director, designer and illustrator for more than 20 years, the artist has recently reclaimed his early passion for the fine arts. Peterson is a portrait artist whose commissions are in oil, although he paints in all mediums.
A member of The Portrait Society of America, Allied Artist of America, The Visual Arts Center of New Jersey and The Millburn-Short Hills Art Center. His work is in museums, galleries and in private collections around the U.S.
