Marisol Carde

Marisol is a second generation Puerto Rican born in Stamford, CT. Marisol credits her father Rodulfo Cardé for instilling a love of art and music within the family. Marisol’s father is a painter and guitarist and her older sister is a sculptor and doll maker. As a result Marisol is an avid artist and writer, using items like photos, writing and drawings to create her art.

Marisol is also co-owner of Stilettoteez.com where she works at creating unique works of assemblage art. Altering books, journals and creating one of a kind jewelry her journals have been purchased as far away as France. She also works with her partner to design graphic tee-shirts.

In this world of internet communications one of Marisol's desires is to see the younger community pick up pen, paper and maintain a history of their lives to pass on to other generations.
