Jo-Ann Thompson-Claybourne

Jo-Ann Thompson-Claybourne is a native of Stamford Connecticut. She started drawing at age 5, and has 38 years experience in Sketching, Drawing, Painting and Collage works. Jo-Ann attended the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan, and is gifted with the ability to create new and exciting pieces of Artwork, using different mediums to capture her vision on canvas or paper. The works of Leroy Campbell and Paul Goodnight and many other artists have inspired Jo-Ann; she has an extraordinary love for Art. Jo-Ann enjoys exploring her own creativity to its fullest, each time she creates a new piece, she strives to enhance her techniques.

In November 2004 Jo-Ann created a line of Greeting Cards & Hand Painted Vases, and in November 2005 Jo-Ann added to her collection; 8 of her original pieces of artworks in print form.

Jo-Ann Thompson-Claybourne currently teaches after school programs at Davenport Elementary, Greenwich Academy, Fox Run Elementary, Wolfpit Elementary and Silvermine Elementary; she is also an Art Instructor at the Norwalk Senior Center.
