Glenn Tunstull

Flowing from the curve of a brush, the paintings of internationally acclaimed artist Glenn Tunstull capture, in a moment, the poetry of life. A native of Queens, New York, Tunstull is a graduate of the prestigious Cass Technical High School in Detroit and Parsons School of Design. As an illustrator, he was one of few who revolutionized fashion illustration in the late 70’s and early 80’s. His groundbreaking career of thirty years has earned him clients among the elite of fashion and entertainment.

Tunstull travels the globe capturing the nuances, subtleties and distinctive atmosphere of far off places with his striking watercolor and oil paintings. Of his work he states, " I’ve always strived and will continue to strive to place the viewer in the setting of my work. I want to show a large part of the multi-cultural world that goes unseen, showing people of color far beyond the stereotype. I feel my life has been one of breaking the mould and it’s only natural that my work should reflect that, too."
