Ernesto Camacho

A New York City artist of Mexican/Puerto Rican descent, Ernesto studied art and earned his bachelor’s at the University of Syracuse. He has exhibited at galleries in New York City and illustrated children’s books on the Navajo Indian Reservation in northern Arizona.

His paintings explore the intimate side of humanity as well as the human psyche in an array of settings and time periods. Most of his work is based on photographs that he takes on location and refines in his studio.
