Anne Heywood’s paintings and drawings are noted for their unique compositions as well as their beauty – a reflection of her life spent in New England and Italy. Author of Pastels Made Easy (Watson-Guptill Publications, NYC, 2003), Heywood has been published in international books and magazines such as “Australian Artist”. Listed in Who’s Who in American Women, her educational background includes a B. A. summa cum laude in Art. Heywood works in her studios in East Bridgewater, Massachusetts and Waldoboro, Maine. She accepts commissions for custom paintings and pet portraits, and offers workshops, lectures, and demonstrations. Her works can be found in both national and international corporate and private collections, and are represented by the Wilson & Heywood Gallery in Plymouth, Massachusetts.
