Born into a family with a healthy mix of creative energy and computer addiction, owner and chief designer Marc D. Ensign officially established Sound-n-Vision Designs in December of 2000.

In the years before the birth of Sound-n-Vision, Marc honed his skills as a freelance web designer for such major corporations as Heinz, Knight Ridder, Prodigy, and a top advertising agency in New York. Although the work itself was exciting, there there always seemed to be a certain level of personal service that was missing from this aspect of the corporate world. There had to be a way to get the functionality and work ethic of a major corporate design firm without losing the personalized treatment of a "Mom and Pop" shop!

One early morning in front of the computer, Marc, a self-proclaimed David Bowie finatic, was playing around with some ideas when the David Bowie song Sound+Vision came on and sparked an idea. Within a few short weeks, a business plan was developed that combined what is now known as the foundation of Sound-n-Vision Designs:

• Creative design
• Extremely personalized customer service and support
• An "anything is possible" programming attitude

It wasn't long before word had gotten out about Sound-n-Vision Designs. Business was growing so rapidly that what once sounded like a "pretty darn good idea" had turned into an 80+ hour work week. Even so, Sound-n-Vision Designs pressed forward and took on the daunting task of expanding to include web hosting, graphic design, printing services, multi-media production, search engine submission and multi-media production.

Since that time, Sound-n-Vision Designs has had the pleasure of working with individuals and companies from all walks of life. Local artists, non-profit organizations, small businesses and fortune 500 companies have all benefited from the services of Sound-n-Vision Designs. A partial client list includes such names as The New York Pops, Travel and Leisure Magazine, American Express, Nike, Nordstom, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Vessie B., and many others.

As Sound-n-Vision Designs continues to grow, one thing will ALWAYS remain the same...the simple concept the company was founded on: quality work at a fair price from some of the most talented designers and programmers on the planet...who happen to be pretty nice people too!
