Linda Bailey-Walker is Managing Director of Morgan Walker International Inc. (MWI), a New York-based management consulting firm specializing in organizational change strategy and leadership development. MWI’s services include executive coaching and training in negotiation skills, merger integration, team effectiveness, strategy development, persuasive presentations and workforce inclusion. With over 20 years’ experience, Linda has advised corporations in Asia, Africa, Europe and the United States. Her firm’s clients have included Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, Credit Suisse First Boston, The Deutsche Bank, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, The Economist Group, The New York Times, Goldman Sachs, Time Warner, Simon and Schuster, Avon, Boehringer Ingelheim, Verizon, Ryder, Columbia University School of Business, and the United Nations.

Prior to entering private practice, Linda was corporate director of organizational development and training for Viacom Inc. which includes MTV Networks, Showtime, and Paramount Pictures. Prior to Viacom, she worked in management development for Goldman Sachs, where she designed and delivered management training at the firm’s London, Tokyo and New York offices. She has held other positions with The Travelers Companies in Connecticut, Diversified Systems Group in Maryland and Meridian House International in Washington, DC.

In addition to her corporate experience, Linda has been recognized for her work in the public sector where she received a Bronze Medal from the International Trade Administration, US Department of Commerce for her analysis of the US position on world trade. As a former press correspondent to the United Nations, she has published many articles focusing on the UN and international relations.

Linda’s education includes: study abroad honors at Oxford University-New College, England, doctoral studies at Columbia University (ABD/all but dissertation), a Master of Arts degree from The Ohio State University, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Morgan State University. Her professional certifications include: the Harvard Program On Negotiation, the DISC™ Personal Profile System and the Myers Briggs Type Indicator. She is a member of the Business Council for the United Nations, the Oxford University Society, the National Association of Women Business Owners, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., and the American Society for Training and Development.
