Glenn Macura works magic by day as an art advisor and curator....and by night....Glenn transforms to a Yoga practitioner, where he seeks to curate the body by balancing the Ying with Yang. Glenn began working in the art world when he moved to NYC in 1984. A former painter with a MFA from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, Glenn has engaged in all creative and business aspects of the contemporary art world. In addition to working with galleries, museums, corporations, private and public institutions, Glenn also guides private clients in the purchase, development and maintenance of their personal art collections. Since 1995, Glenn has managed the Corporate Art Collection for the General Electric Company. In this role, he has overseen all facets of the movement and maintenance of the Collections 3000 + pieces. The GE collection is on view at more than 8 locations including facilities in Washington DC, 30 Rockefeller Plaza and GE World Headquarters in Fairfield, CT. His responsibilities include everything from the occasional purchase to upkeep, inventory, evaluation, transportation and installing over 20 exhibitions for GE's Corporate Gallery to date. Since 2006, Glenn has partnered with Picture That to curate exhibitions for GE's newly created Cultural Fine Art Gallery. Picture That is proud to have Glenn as a member of its Team. Together they have curated some of the finest contemporary cultural art exhibitions in today's society, as well as manage the fine art collections of Pitney Bowes and several other corporations and private clients.
